August 15, 2024
On 8/11/2024, during the early morning hours, unknown person(s) broke into the Dollar General located at 24020 Main St, Wagram, NC and removed cigarettes and other items. The suspects were dressed in all black and appear to be operating a light in color full size truck.
On 08/15/2024, during the early morning hours, unknown person(s) broke into the Family Dollar located at 23100 Main St., Wagram, NC and removed cigarettes and other items. The suspects appear to be the same two individuals dressed in all black operating a light in color full size truck.

Homicide
March 14, 2024
UPDATE: On March 17, 2024, Denver Jamesia Quick succumbed to her injuries and died from the injuries sustained from March 14, 2024.
On March 14, 2024 at approximately 10:15pm, officers with the Laurinburg Police Department responded to the area of Samao and Wagram St, Laurinburg, NC reference to shots fired. On arrival, Officers located a vehicle, a silver in color Chevrolet Malibu crashed with damage consistent with being struck with gunfire.
Inside the vehicle, a female, Denver Jamesia Quick, age 37 of Fayetteville, NC, originally from Laurinburg, NC was located in the drivers seat unresponsive, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Quick was rushed to the nearest medical facility in critical condition.
Investigation of the scene indicated that Quick was traveling on Wagram Street when unknown persons fired multiple shots into the vehicle striking Quick.

This individual is responsible for Breaking, Entering and Larceny from Motor Vehicle. The homeowner yelled out to the suspect who then began discharging a firearm toward the homeowner striking a vehicle and two residencies. On October 9, 2022 at approximately 5:50pm, Officers with the Laurinburg Police Department responded to 130 S. Caledonia Road, Laurinburg, Rob's Convenience reference to an Armed Robbery. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the store clerk who advised that a male entered the store brandishing a firearm and demanded money. The male then fled the store running towards First Street, Laurinburg with an undisclosed amount of currency.

Attempted Sexual Assault

On 05/24/2022 at approximately 5:40pm, officers with the Laurinburg Police Department responded to Scotland Memorial Hospital reference to an attempted sexual assault. A 24yoa female while entering her vehicle was attacked from behind and pushed into her vehicle. The assailant then got on top of the female inside her vehicle. A citizen heard a female screaming for help and noticed a male on top of the female and yelled to the assailant. The assailant exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The female sustained minor injuries and was treated and later released.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” tall, slim build last seen wearing a red hoodie and light grey pants. The suspect was last seen running behind Scotland Memorial Hospital and toward US 74 bypass.

On 05/03/2022 at approximately 07:30pm, Officers with the Laurinburg Police Department responded to Rob’s Convenience, 130 S. Caledonia Road, Laurinburg reference to a robbery. Upon arrival officers spoke with the store clerk who advised the suspect, a black male wearing a camouflage hoodie entered the business displaying a firearm and demanded money. The suspect then left the business with an undisclosed amount of currency toward McKay Street, Laurinburg. Officers searched the area and was unable to locate.
The suspect is described as a black male approximately 5’9”, 160-180lbs last seen wearing a camouflage hoodie and blue jeans.
